Isaiah 49

It asks a lot of good questions and sets a lot of hard and yet wonderful truths in front of us. Outline for the video  Intro- Don't get ahead! This is not the first time we have heard this warning. Do not approach the Word with the mentality...Oh I have read this before and interject your understanding. Let the word speak and teach. We won't learn anything new if we continue to try and teach the word rather than listen. Isaiah 49: Rare benefit of this passage- we enter into the human struggles of Jesus of Nazareth -truly God yet truly Man- sinless man but not an effortless human life -we read how the Messiah speaks to His Father when ministry is tough -We must see faith as it is- we are the empty handed recipients of it Read Psalm 77: 3,5,10     -can you relate to these verses?      - min marker 3:21-4:42         ...

Do I think of looking at Christ as something extra? Another essential place to look is Hebrews 12- Christ the great Author and Finisher of our faith. 12:1-2 LOOK unto Jesus Looking away from, looking to... --Ambrose book: Looking away from things  sin & its enticements dreadful things Determine to look at Christ, determine to look towards the things of God. This is exemplified between Isaiah 40-42 -...

We will learn to see him as both and can watch as the prophecies unfold.  Without further explanation...here is the outline for this week! Study along with me?! CONTEXT *watch the video first just to hear it- follow through a 2nd or 3rd time with the outline at your own pace through the week so you can use the outline to take notes.   Context: Order of the 4 Songs This is a picture of Christ!
